The umbrella has the unique C-shaped handle which you can put your hand through and enables you to hang on to it with one hand and free up your other hand. If you have ever tried getting into you car on a rainy day with an umbrella you will appreciate this ingenious design as it folds UP when closing to take the water away from you. Push the button and pull towards you and it folds up to take the water away. It will then stand on its own to allow the water to drain and the umbrella to dry (as shown in the inset photo). When it is dry pull a little more towards you and it clicks in place and locks. Use the handy strap to secure and store once it is dry.
The open width for coverage is approx. 41" and the length when folded is approx. 31". It is double layered with 8 fiberglass ribs to protect you from strong downpours and winds.
